That way, people wouldn't have to learn to build while still addressing the whole "no cover" issue the map has. Stuff like the port a fort, but with more variation. I think pre-defined builds would benefit zero build a ton. There's a ton of teams that end up building massive boxes to get advantagous angles, but the only time that makes sense is when you've got stacked endgames. Ironically, it's the major tournaments (FNCS and the like) where you'll see building used to make forts (well, not really, but much closer to what you see in pubs). Especially when you'll have to move anyway to get in zone. It just doesn't make sense to spend 500 mats on a fort when a 1x1 is just as effective for 10% of the materials. The only thing it achieves is making the building feel clunky, but people still figured out how to crank 90s, just much more artritis inducing.Įven if they reduced building to 1 piece a second, it still wouldn't make people build forts.
